Well after watching this movie 20 years later it doesnt feel the same as the first time I watched this. I mean its still pretty good, I guess the length of this movie might have some part to do with it as well as the spook factor, just doesn't get to me. Yeah I was 22 at the time and being the time I watched it, was my first and only time I watched but still, the spook/shock value was slightly above minimal.

This is a cheesy, silly horror movie that isn't really scary. But it just so happens that I sometimes enjoy a campy horror movie around Halloween. Just don't expect it to really scare you, I instead found myself laughing out loud at some parts. Overall I had fun with this movie.

I'm amazed reading these comments that people have anything negative to say. This movie is phenomenal. While it might not be like s*** your pants scary it's just genuinely good and suspenseful It keeps you at the edge of your seat the whole time never knowing what's coming. There's nothing campy about this cuz it's not a B-Rate movie It is its own identity and it does it well. Just watch the original, while it's good it has nothing on this this was a perfect execution of source material.
