From legendary director/writer James L. Brooks comes a humorous and romantic look at the "How Do You Know" question. When everything she's ever known is suddenly taken from her, Lisa (Reese Witherspoon) begins a fling with Matty (Owen Wilson), a major league baseball player and self-centered ladies man. Before their relationship takes off, Lisa meets up with George (Paul Rudd) a straight-arrow businessman facing his own serious issues, both with his father (Jack Nicholson) and the law. Its a real love story, not that hollywood, never tells you what happens the next day stuff. Life is hard, but good things happen. You should find someone that loves you for you. That should be enough

I just love the story. I love the beginning of how she has all the sticky notes. Just sort of see myself in this movie, in all the characters. One of my favorite movies. A different story than most love stories/movies.

Fell flat. Good actors and a few mildly funny bits. But it didn't come together. Not an enjoyable movie to watch.
