If I had five words to describe this movie, I would say "boring and too slow paced". The kid characters were interesting, but the pacing of this film didn't give them any time to develop their character. I wouldn't really recommend this movie unless you are trying to put yourself to sleep. While the trailers did catch my interest, it failed to live up to mine (if not everyone's) expectations. I won't criticize anyone who do enjoy this film because if you do, good for you

Lots don't understand how this got an award. With its well direction screenplay and just how the movie ends up till so.nothing you didn't realize would happen is a huge part of the important plot. Which is why it had a its awards and fame. Even if the story doesn't fit you, you have to see all the other stuff behind it.

Delightful production for both young and old. In this day in age of superficial slick animations with storylines so vague and ambiguous that you cannot invest in characters this reinvigorates the human spirit and soul. In the sense it shows our children both the tragedy and beauty in our lives.
