關於這部電影

Rufus is a shy and lonely boy determined to make a new start. Sure he has some quirks. So what if he likes the taste of blood? It's not like he's addicted. When a cunning vampire hunter slips into town searching for the fountain of youth, Rufus fears his darkest secret is about to be revealed.

If you are a fan of anything to do with Vampire ( bit of a spoiler ....although Vampire is not the correct word for what the character is) or Vampire related/ themed movies you will certainly find this one a bit different. But, in a good way. You will almost certainly immediately get the feeling early on that the main character, Rufus, is not a monster but is instead, a victim. Far too many films which deal with "alternative type Vampires" leave you with no explanation as to just how they came to be. Not so with "Hunted". The film does a good job of tidying up all of the loose ends and explaining just what Rufus truly is. A refreshing change indeed. Not to mention that as the film progresses, you can very clearly see that unlike the atypical "soul less " and vicious Vampire type creature, Rufus dreads causing anyone harm. As more and more about Rufus' past is revealed you can't help but find yourself rooting for him to finally find true, unconditional love and acceptance.

Overall it was steady. The concept was there, but the little excitement was just a tease that was enough to keep watching. And the "vampire hunter" was rather a joke. If you got nothing going on during a late night and just looking for something a bit different, it may be worth a rental. Still a better love story than Twilight.

It's not the blood and guts film the cover leads it is a piece of art and left me with hope that there are still some amazing films being made. I rented it but am now buying! It is refreshing and at times innocent. I am so happy I didn't let the cover turn me off.
