A surprisingly good old fashioned action film. The CG was definitely average, but the action and suspense worked. I appreciated the small details they put in that i hadn't seen in other movies before, like the angle that people stood as the submarine submerged. Simple, yet makes alot of sense, but most submarine movies don't portray that. Although clearly fictional, I also appreciated the removal of borders to achieve a greater good objective.

When actors choose this kind of film, to me it means no acting ability just fights, swearing, loud music and bad acting. please go and learn how to act, without the violence andcthe MA rating.

was ok. didn't have a long run at the cinemas. the ending becomes quite unbelieveable. gerald butler doesn't have enough appeal as lead actor. gary oldman seems to shout a lot only.
