Inspired by true events, Hyena Road is a modern-day war epic set the heart Taliban territory in Afghanistan. When expert sniper, Ryan Sanders and his crack-shot team are forced to take shelter in a nearby village, they come face-to-face with The Ghost, a legendary Afghan freedom fighter who’s been forced into seclusion by the Taliban. When intelligence officer, Pete Mitchell learns of their chance encounter, he enlists Sanders’ team to track down The Ghost in hope of creating an unlikely and powerful ally.

Love a great action war movie, but I might want to watch Battlefield Earth again after that. The sets are cheap and campy and the action scenes look like they were shot by a kid with his dad's vhs camera. Don't waste your money.

I couldn't get through this film without taking a break. After finally finishing it I returned it to Redbox wanting my money and the hour and a half it took for my life back. Absolutely and the worst war movie ever.

Extremely well written, acted, directed, perfect effects. Flawless in technical accuracy (well, except for the use of cell phones for tactical ops). This is a great movie. Proves that the Canadian movie industry is just as good as the best of Hollywood.
