"Beep Beep Richie!" I'm not much of reader when it comes to books. The reason why I couldn't care less when a book gets adapted into film, because not every word is gonna translate well on screen. However, I do remember at a young age watching the 1990 adaptation starring the amazing Tim Curry. While I was never scared, due to it's goofy and sloppy scenes, but Curry performance left a last long impression on me and other people. Re-watching the TV movie didn't help to painfully realize how out.

One of my all-time favorite horror films since the first SAW film. In fact, I think it's a whole lot better than the book it's based on. Spoiler-free premise: a group of seven misfits band together to fight off a clown that's responsible for the "disappearance" of children across a small town. This movie had me scared the first time I watched it (Bill Skarsgård as Pennywise sold it for me as soon as he was announced to play the clown) and it still does to this day. WARNING: NOT for the faint of heart or the rest of my family.

Now my son thinks there's clowns in sewers :/ His dad let him watch it. Either way I've seen it. I love it
