From the director of TOWER BLOCK and inspired by real special forces training, I AM SOLDIER follows Mickey (Tom Hughes of ABOUT TIME) a young soldier taking on the most dangerous military training known to man: the Special Air Service. The SAS is the UK's most renowned Special Forces regiment, tasked with missions in some of the most dangerous and hostile locations on the planet. Mickey is smashed by the grueling selection process. But, when the Counter Terrorism Squadron takes charge of a deadly situation, Mickey and fellow recruit Carter (Noel Clarke of STAR TREK: INTO DARKNESS) advance into conflict to see if they really have what it takes. They're against all odds as many try to get into the SAS but only a few elite survive.

Puntuacions i ressenyes

I found this film quite original and fresh, and it was fascinating getting an insight into the SAS. Tom Hughes shows once again that he can be counted among the most compelling actors of his generation.
