I was really skeptical about this movie, but my daughter and gf insisted we rent it. Well my daughter made it through to the one hour mark, she couldn't handle the ending (she's only 10, but a huge fan of horror). My gf and I were pleasantly surprised by the movie. It had our attention the entire time and had us making assumptions of what happened through until the end. I am definitely going to eventually purchase this and watch it regularly. Do not compare this masterpiece to Insidious. The end.

This movie seriously disturbed/inspired me! THANK YOU for a original movie! I think the style of the movie was a little bit too much (rounded off frame sort of looks like they ran the movie through an Instagram filter) but I got used to it and I really loved it! It was a little hard to get into the movie because its repetitive (with good reason, trust me) but once you get past that you will love this!

A delightful horror flick, in the finest sense of the genre-- at turns unsettling and puzzling. Anna Ishida gives a well crafted performance as the titular ghost, conveying a real sense of vulnerability. The set design was remarkable, and I enjoyed Mendoza's taut, minimalist dialogue. Found this by accident, and was completely charmed by its execution. Perfect for raising some cold chills on a hot day. I look forwards to seeing more from both Mendoza and Ishida.
