I really liked Amy Schumer until I realized she just steals jokes and recycles most everything else. (I can't believe Amy told that popcorn joke on Ellen. Ellen wrote that joke years ago in one of her standup specials. You really just told HER joke to her on her show? Jesus, Amy.) There were parts of this movie I enjoyed, like the supporting actors and the chemistry between all of them; it worked well. I would love to see something from Amy that's not contrived and therefore unwatchable. That whole first scene with the double double wide feet thing... i almost turned off the movie. It was in no way funny. I kept watching because I love the transformative type of plots. I just... didn't laugh at all.

First off this is listed as PG as of this writing on Google Play so I rented it thinking it would be slightly innuendo but it was nasty and degrading classic Schumer but thinking it was PG it would be reined in but the rating was incorrect MPA gave this movie a PG-13 after we couldn't finish watching it. I went searched and sure enough it is PG-13 I contacted Google to let them know and requesting a refund and classic Google no reply. You have been warned if you are expecting funny you will get raunch. If -1 was possible that is what this move would get I feel dumber for watching this.

If you didn't like this movie don't give Amy all the credit, she didn't write or make the movie. I support her genuine-ness. I love the projects like Trainwreck in which she had a bigger hand (she wrote and acted in it and it was a major success, i loved her costar too). Here she did her best with someone else's vision, despite her first training and skill not being acting in films. I enjoy supporting her for her forthrightness about the challenges women face. There is a real category of women who do not qualify for obese but aint cute or thin enough to break into that which slim people take for granted...easy dating and general acceptance.
