Barbara is the only thing that stands between terrible giants and the destruction of her small town. But as she boldly confronts her fears in increasingly dangerous ways, she begins to question everything shes always believed to be true.

Bad reviews because of a poor sypnosis and expectations by a comparison to and mention of harry potter. This is a slow movie delving into the grief stricken psyche of a young girl, how children deal with grief and are ostracized by their peers and mostly unnoticed by adults. It shows that one or two caring individuals can change the course of depression and denial. The overall story and cgi are great but it is a slow movie and far from the action you'd expect from a harry potter-mosque magic film. It's a great movie to watch while you're sick and just want to lay in bed.

No spoilers I hate spoilers but real talk not to spoil anything for anyone this is not the film you think it is stay away from it. It's a bad joke with a very weak punchline I'll just leave it like that. I'm slightly irritated that I dedicated 2 hours of my life existence to this garbage. This film should have a hazard warning on it please don't pay money for this. If you buy this film shame on you dedicate the money to me I'll take it. I'll consider it repayment retribution for me sitting through this nonsense.

Horrible horrible move just brutally painful to watch.1 : hour and like 20 fkn minuted till you see the actual one single giant geeze even the "fight scene" is ridiculously stupid LMFAO I'm so pissed I wasted my time luckily I was browsing internet so didn't take too much of my time. Perfect if your a girl ages 7-14 buy man o man rf your emo it's a movie you should buy 💯
