A young girl hides from the true reality of her situation inside fantasies of giant slaying. See her interactions at home, with a new girl who befriends her, a school bully and school counsellor. This is slow paced, and some people will not see what's going on behind the girls life, and just see the awkwardness instead. To me this retreats a similar story to "a monster calls", but that movie made me feel more than this one, hence the 3 instead of 4
