Variety's review said that this YA supernatural thriller "has a certain snow-globe dark fairy tale allure that could resonate among younger viewers." The strong cast and poignant sense of loss in this story give it a more powerful emotional core than most films in this genre. The slick production values were matched by the beautiful and mysterious score -- one post yesterday said the Emmy-winning composer (Bear McCreary) "doubled down on the choral bliss." The LA Times summarized it as an "intriguing, well-acted spook-show, low on fright but driven by some twisty adventure.

I dont get the bad reviews... this movie was great and had a great point in the end. I even teared up a bit. It deserves way more then 5 ⭐'s. Watch this movie, you wont regret it i promise.

2 stars, but only because I finished it. So glad I only paid a buck fifty to watch this lol. I wanted so bad for this to be good. Funny how it went from being pretty decent to just silly around the halfway point. eh.
