Ratings and reviews

The way that the story is told is great...not your usual bio-movie...interspersed with interview footage. Robbie plays Tonya very well, believable throughout. In fact cast is great, particularly Allison Janney (worthy of the Oscar) for playing her awful mother. Really enjoyed this!

Found it difficult to like or empathise with any of the characters. It does get better towards the end of the story but it seems that its too late to fully engage with it. Interesting and worth a watch but flawed.

An absolute must-watch! No more shocking than the real world events, the film is unbiased enough to let the viewer draw their own conclusions. Cat are all awesome (Alison Janney Oscar-winning, obvs), but for me, Paul Walter Hauser's hapless bodyguard steals every scene he's in!
