A high school boy stumbles across a secret journal in a hospital one day. He soon finds out the diary belongs to his classmate, a girl named Sakura Yamauchi, who is revealed to be suffering from a terminal illness in her pancreas and only has a few months left to live. A secret they share that brings their hearts closer together.

This is the second time I've seen this movie, I love it. The first time I didn't cry but I balled my eyes out this time. It's very emotional and I would definitely watch it again.

Hit different. If there was a soul as true and pure as Sakura in the real world, I'd give her my pancreas transplant. Not even a simp.

Good movie, emotionally charged at times, kinda strange in the middle, but a disappointing ending.
