About this movie

The destructive effects of global warming cause unimaginable devastation and panic worldwide. The human race finds itself contemplating the dawn of a new ice age in this epic disaster staring Richard Roxburgh, Frances O'Connor, Claire Forlani, Ben Cross, Simon Callow, Patrick Bergin with Stephen Moyer and Sam Neill. It is 2020. Global warming has turned the regions of Southern Europe to desert and the Arctic polar ice cap is disappearing rapidly. There is a refugee crisis on an unprecedented scale as populations migrate north. Energy companies are turning to increasingly dangerous methods to extract what little oil is left on Earth.

Very poor and amateurish film with really bad acting. Goes on forever as well, seems like it took up my whole Saturday night. Good job there's an extra hour in bed tonight.

The biggest problem here is the length of the film. It goes on forever and it doesn't have the story to carry it, so it just feels drawn out and tedious. Acting is OK, but it's all ultimately a bit pointless really...

The trailer is very poor, the film is a lot better than it looks in there. It's not big budget, so comparing it to box office smash hits is unfair. It was good enough, I'd watch it again for sure.
