Scrat’s epic pursuit of the elusive acorn catapults him into the universe where he accidentally sets off a series of cosmic events that transform and threaten the Ice Age world. To save themselves, Sid, Manny, Diego, and the rest of the herd must leave their home and embark on a quest full of comedy and adventure, traveling to exotic new lands and encountering a host of colourful new characters.

Love the ice age franchise but I hope this is the last as although funny in parts (mainly beginning) its definitely run its course. Some very similar jokes etc... Leave it alone now please before you ruin it :)

Hmmm...I love the Ice Age films. The main 3 characters are brilliant. The Scrat scenes are funny too. In IA5 though, the main 3 are swamped by 'extras' and Scrat is now just 'here we go again'. Thing is, my kids loved it, so therefore, it's a winner. I normally get into it with them, but sadly, not this time...I was honestly bored!

Animation was great (as always), but this series needs to end now. I only got about half way through it, then I switched off. Even my girls got bored and lost interest (unlike them, as they love this sort of thing).
