Ten strangers become stranded at a desert motel by a violent storm and quickly find themselves being murdered one by one. As the corpses pile up, the survivors begin to turn on one another, and as accusations fly, we discover that everyone in the motel, including the killer, is a single person suffering from multiple personality disorder. First let me say that I havent read the book Just reading the description, the author seems to take Agatha Christie's " Ten Little Indians" also known as "And Then There Were None" and based his story on Christie's novel. with a twist that being DID. Unless he is implying that an alter is killing other parts of one individual of which he/she is part which can happpen, my guess is that the author needs to do a little bit more research before writing on this controversial and very misunderstood issue.

Proves writers know nothing about dissociative disorder and psychology as its obvious they ignored the obvious suspect throughout. Still an amusing slasher film with good cast despite asinine premise, still better than most "thrillers" made today.

NOTHING EVEN REMOTELY LIKE "TEN LITTLE INDIANS" That was one of my FAVORITE books. If you enjoy a good psychological suspense that leaves you guessing until the very end, this is for you. "Realism" is for life, not (entertainment) movies. Although, one never knows what can really happen, if you want it bad enough .....
