Rreth këtij filmi

From Mike Judge, one of the creative minds behind Beavis and Butt-Head, King of the Hill, and Office Space, comes an outrageous sci-fi comedy that'll make you think twice about the future of mankind. Meet Joe Bowers (Luke Wilson). He's not the sharpest tool in the shed. But when a government hibernation experiment goes awry, Bowers awakens in the year 2505 to find a society so dumbed-down by mass commercialism and mindless TV programming that he's become the smartest guy on the planet. Now it's up to an average Joe to get human evolution back on track! Filled with razor-sharp sarcasm and outrageous sight gags, Idiocracy will make you laugh out loud whether you're an absolute genius or a complete idiot!

Huge fan of office space, this movie has proven to be more of a self fulfilling prophecy than entertainment since it s release. Hilarious moments, a few background gags and great acting from everyone. This is not a piece of art, it's not fine acting its what's happening to us now but it's hilarious because we don't know it yet, it's a scary truth but hilarious.

This should be a comedy, and it is, but it is a glimpse into what our world is turning into. Sure some of the stuff show hopefully will not happen, but we still have 500 years to evolve to that,. Sure the acting is a little bad, but also part of it is because the society is so dumb that it seems bad acting, but that is just how they talk and act. Extremely funny, this movie did not get the credit is deserved. This is a movie I recommend to a lot of family and friends for an easy to watch movie with lots of laughs. Remember this movie was out in 2006, talk about how accurate some things are happening now.

So many one liners. Comical yet chilling depiction of where humans/culture is going. And also a reflection of where we are right now in some respects (action hero and wrestling governors, bad diets, potty humor movies that rake in all the $, everything is unreliably automated etc.) Kind of Monty Python-esque in its over-the-topness. In the long view, it's better than office space I think.
