As the head of a gulag in communist Russia, Ilsa holds the son of one of Stalin's opponents captive and must destroy all evidence of the camp's existence. However, Ilsa cannot escape her past and years later sees the same prisoner, now a hockey player on the soviet national team. Determined to terminate him, she and her Cossack sidekick kidnap him, but he escapes and succeeds in turning the table on her in a thrilling finish.
