In the underbelly of lower Manhattan, Frannie Avery (Meg Ryan), a reserved English professor, becomes obsessed after seeing more than she should of an impassioned couple. Flat. Can hardly hear Meg Ryan when she speaks. No emotion came through in this movie. Boring. Very disappointed. Flat, dull movie.

Meg Ryan is at her best in this movie. This not a syrupy romantic comedy, get it, enjoy!
