دون كوب (ليوناردو دي كابريو) لص موهوب يقوم بالتجسس للشركات: يعمل على استخلاص معلومات قيمة في سرية تامة من العقل الباطن خلال النوم عندما يكون العقل في أكثر المراحل ضعفاَ. إن مقدرة كوب النادرة جعلت منه عميل مرغوب به في هذا العالم الجديد والمخادع، عالم التجسس على الشركات، ولكنه أيضاً أصبح ملاحقاً دولياً وخسر كل ما هو غالي على قلبه. والآن تعرض على كوب فرصة للخلاص. مهمة أخيرة شبه مستحيلة يمكنها أن تعيد له حياته القديمة-- Inception. بدلاً من السرقة الكاملة، يجب على كوب وفريقه من المتخصصين أن ينتزعوا الفكرة المغايرة، مهمتهم لا تكمن في سرقة فكرة ما بل في زراعة فكرة في رأس الهدف. إن نجحوا في ذلك، ستكون الجريمة الكاملة. ولكن أي قدر من التخطيط الحذر أو الخبرة يمكن أن يحضر الفريق لمجابهة العدو الخطير الذي يبدو أنه يتنبأ بكل تحركاتهم. عدو يستطيع فقط كوب مشاهدة قدومه.

This movie deserves EVERY SINGLE last award it received! The premise is confusingly complex which is what makes it so genius with its flawless execution. All written, produced, AND directed by a one man mastermind named Christopher Nolan! It's amazing he executed all major roles of such a project with no doubt at the audience's expense! The epitome of a unique sci-fi, eye-widening excellence.

There are a few plot holes and way to much dialog and exposition, but I guess that's required when making a movie with this kind of concept. But the creativity is on another level. This movie will go from 20 minutes of boring exposition 20 minutes of breathtaking action sequences. This isn't the best choice as a casual movie to wanting to watch with friends, but is perfect for people who want to experience a masterpiece of filmmaking. I have seen this multiple times and still find new details.

They took a pure action movie and built a flimsy premise with useless dialogue around it like a plumber who shows up at a woman's house to fix her pipes in a porno. Plot holes weren't the reason we came to see this movie.
