Det andre av George Lucas'/Steven Spielbergs Indiana Jones-epos finner sted ca. ett år før hendelsene i Raiders of the Lost Ark (1984). Etter en kortvarig hurlumhei som omfatter en dyrebar flaske og en vill tur nedover en voldsom elv i Himalaya, må Indy (Harrison Ford) takle problemstillingen: Han må få tilbake en dyrebar edelstein og flere bortførte unge gutter på vegne av en fjern ostindisk landsby. Som følgesvenner har han denne gangen en treg, lettskremt nattklubbsangerinne (Kate Capshaw) og en spretten 12-åring ved navn Short Round (Quan Ke Huy). Fra ende til annen er handlingen overgått av spenningen, som innbefatter en rystende berg-og-dal-banetur i en forlatt gruvesjakt, og at Indy redder heltinnen fra å bli et menneskeoffer. Det er også noen søte referanser til Raiders of the Lost Ark, spesielt en morsom variant av da Indy skjøt sherpakrigeren.

Vurderinger og anmeldelser

Indiana Jones, Legend of a movie series. Honestly, with the first being the greatest, this one comes real close. Again with the top storyline, soundtracks, and characters like "Short Round" really made this movie what it is. One of the most under-rated moves, I'd say in Indiana Jones Series, where I don't understand why It get's so much undeserved hate. Anyways, no need to read this, just go out and watch the movie for yourself. Literally indescribable . What a blast it was to re-watch it on Christmas, and how we got to see his adventures continue, and new sides of it. They really don't make movies like these anymore. Pure adventure, comedy, and many more.

Watched this on Christmas Eve of 2021, even though its not as good as the other ones and considered the worst one it was still fun seeing Indania Jones in action. It does get undeserved hate, but you have to admit Short Round really took the spotlight. Amazing portrayal and spot on as well. Anyways, it was amazing re-watching this movie on Christmas Eve. I was meant to post this orginally, but unfortunately I got busy, then I couldn't find the review I posted of it on Christmas Eve of 2021, so Happy New Years everyone and I wish you all the best!!!
