George Lucasin ja Steven Spielbergin toisen Indiana Jones -suurelokuvan tarina tapahtuu noin vuotta aiemmin kuin elokuvan Raiders of the Lost Ark (1984) tapahtumat. Oltuaan ensin mukana rajussa kallisarvoiseen lääkeputkeen liittyvässä tappelussa ja laskettuaan raivoavaa Himalajan vuoriston jokea alas Indy (Harrison Ford) alkaa selvitellä ongelmaa. Hänen on saatava takaisin arvokas jalokivi ja monta nuorta poikaa, jotka siepattiin syrjäisestä kylästä Itä-Intiassa. Hänen kumppaneinaan ovat tällä kerralla typerä, helposti pelästyvä yökerholaulajatar (Kate Capshaw) ja rohkea 12-vuotias poika Short Round (Quan Ke Huy). Juoni jää taka-alalle seurattaessa jännittäviä tapahtumia, kuten kauhistuttavaa vuoristorata-ajelua hylätyssä kaivoksessa ja Indyn yritystä pelastaa sankaritar uhrausrituaalista. Mukana on myös pari mukavaa viittausta elokuvaan Raiders of the Lost Ark, etenkin hauska muunnelma tilanteesta, jossa Indy ampuu Sherpa-soturin.

Indiana Jones, Legend of a movie series. Honestly, with the first being the greatest, this one comes real close. Again with the top storyline, soundtracks, and characters like "Short Round" really made this movie what it is. One of the most under-rated moves, I'd say in Indiana Jones Series, where I don't understand why It get's so much undeserved hate. Anyways, no need to read this, just go out and watch the movie for yourself. Literally indescribable . What a blast it was to re-watch it on Christmas, and how we got to see his adventures continue, and new sides of it. They really don't make movies like these anymore. Pure adventure, comedy, and many more.

Watched this on Christmas Eve of 2021, even though its not as good as the other ones and considered the worst one it was still fun seeing Indania Jones in action. It does get undeserved hate, but you have to admit Short Round really took the spotlight. Amazing portrayal and spot on as well. Anyways, it was amazing re-watching this movie on Christmas Eve. I was meant to post this orginally, but unfortunately I got busy, then I couldn't find the review I posted of it on Christmas Eve of 2021, so Happy New Years everyone and I wish you all the best!!!
