Epos kedua Indiana Jones karya George Lucas/Steven Spielberg ditata pada sekitar setahun sebelum peristiwa di Raiders of the Lost Ark (1984). Setelah hiruk pikuk singkat yang melibatkan botol kecil dan perjalanan liar melalui sungai Himalaya, Indy (Harrison Ford) mengatasi masalah yang ada: menemukan batu mulia berharga dan beberapa anak lelaki yang diculik mewakili desa India Timur yang terkucil. Rekan perjalanannya kali ini termasuk penyanyi kelab malam yang kurang cerdas dan mudah takut (Kate Capshaw), dan anak kecil ketus usia 12 tahun bernama Short Round (Quan Ke Huy). Sepanjang film ini, alur kisahnya lebih mengutamakan ketegangan, termasuk perjalanan rollercoaster yang menyeramkan dalam tambang terlantar dan penyelamatan Indy atas pahlawan wanita dari pengorbanan ritual. Juga ada beberapa rujukan manis terhadap Raiders of the Lost Ark, terutama variasi lucu tentang Indy menembaki pahlawan Sherpa.

Rating dan ulasan

Indiana Jones, Legend of a movie series. Honestly, with the first being the greatest, this one comes real close. Again with the top storyline, soundtracks, and characters like "Short Round" really made this movie what it is. One of the most under-rated moves, I'd say in Indiana Jones Series, where I don't understand why It get's so much undeserved hate. Anyways, no need to read this, just go out and watch the movie for yourself. Literally indescribable . What a blast it was to re-watch it on Christmas, and how we got to see his adventures continue, and new sides of it. They really don't make movies like these anymore. Pure adventure, comedy, and many more.

Watched this on Christmas Eve of 2021, even though its not as good as the other ones and considered the worst one it was still fun seeing Indania Jones in action. It does get undeserved hate, but you have to admit Short Round really took the spotlight. Amazing portrayal and spot on as well. Anyways, it was amazing re-watching this movie on Christmas Eve. I was meant to post this orginally, but unfortunately I got busy, then I couldn't find the review I posted of it on Christmas Eve of 2021, so Happy New Years everyone and I wish you all the best!!!
