Akcja drugiego klasyka duetu George Lucas/Steven Spielberg o przygodach Indiany Jonesa dzieje się około rok przed wydarzeniami z filmu Poszukiwacze Zaginionej Arki (1984). Po krótkiej bijatyce o cenną fiolkę i szalonym spływie w dół wzburzonej rzeki w Himalajach, dowiadujemy się, z czym będzie mierzył się Indy (Harrison Ford): w imieniu wschodnio-indyjskiej wioski ma odzyskać drogocenny klejnot i odbić kilku porwanych chłopców. Towarzyszyć mu będą nierozgarniętą, lękliwa szansonistka z nocnego klubu (Kate Capshaw) i narwany 12-latek zwany Short Round (Quan Ke Huy). Fabuła gra drugie skrzypce, a najważniejsze są pełne emocji sceny akcji, w tym wstrząsająca jazda kolejką w opuszczonym szybie i udaremnienie przez Indy'ego złożenia bohaterki w ofierze. Mamy tu też kilka uroczych nawiązań do Poszukiwaczy Zaginionej Arki, zwłaszcza zabawna wariacja na temat zastrzelenia przez Indy'ego wojownika Sherpy.

Oceny i recenzje

Indiana Jones, Legend of a movie series. Honestly, with the first being the greatest, this one comes real close. Again with the top storyline, soundtracks, and characters like "Short Round" really made this movie what it is. One of the most under-rated moves, I'd say in Indiana Jones Series, where I don't understand why It get's so much undeserved hate. Anyways, no need to read this, just go out and watch the movie for yourself. Literally indescribable . What a blast it was to re-watch it on Christmas, and how we got to see his adventures continue, and new sides of it. They really don't make movies like these anymore. Pure adventure, comedy, and many more.

Watched this on Christmas Eve of 2021, even though its not as good as the other ones and considered the worst one it was still fun seeing Indania Jones in action. It does get undeserved hate, but you have to admit Short Round really took the spotlight. Amazing portrayal and spot on as well. Anyways, it was amazing re-watching this movie on Christmas Eve. I was meant to post this orginally, but unfortunately I got busy, then I couldn't find the review I posted of it on Christmas Eve of 2021, so Happy New Years everyone and I wish you all the best!!!
