Den andra av George Lucas/Steven Spielbergs Indiana Jones klassiker utspelar sig ungefär ett år före händelserna i Raiders of the Lost Ark (1984). Efter något tumultartade händelser med en dyrbar flaska och en vild färd på en flod i Himalaya, tar sig Indy (Harrison Ford) an problemet med att rädda en värdefull skatt och flera kidnappade unga pojkar från en avlägsen indisk by. Den här gången har han sällskap av en lättskrämd nattklubbssångerska (Kate Capshaw) och en livlig tolvåring vid namn Short Round (Quan Ke Huy). Spänningen stiger under en hemsk berg- och dalbana-tur i ett övergivet gruvschakt och när Indy räddar hjältinnan från en offerritual. Det finns också ett par roliga anspelningar på Raiders of the Lost Ark, bl. a. en rolig variant av när Indy skjuter sherpakrigaren.

Betyg och recensioner

Indiana Jones, Legend of a movie series. Honestly, with the first being the greatest, this one comes real close. Again with the top storyline, soundtracks, and characters like "Short Round" really made this movie what it is. One of the most under-rated moves, I'd say in Indiana Jones Series, where I don't understand why It get's so much undeserved hate. Anyways, no need to read this, just go out and watch the movie for yourself. Literally indescribable . What a blast it was to re-watch it on Christmas, and how we got to see his adventures continue, and new sides of it. They really don't make movies like these anymore. Pure adventure, comedy, and many more.

Watched this on Christmas Eve of 2021, even though its not as good as the other ones and considered the worst one it was still fun seeing Indania Jones in action. It does get undeserved hate, but you have to admit Short Round really took the spotlight. Amazing portrayal and spot on as well. Anyways, it was amazing re-watching this movie on Christmas Eve. I was meant to post this orginally, but unfortunately I got busy, then I couldn't find the review I posted of it on Christmas Eve of 2021, so Happy New Years everyone and I wish you all the best!!!
