Het tweede Indiana Jones-epos van George Lucas/Steven Spielberg speelt zich een paar jaar voor de gebeurtenissen in Raiders of the Lost Ark (1984) af. Na een kortdurende heisa over een kostbaar flesje en een wilde tocht over een kolkende rivier in de Himalaya krijgt Indy (Harrison Ford) te maken met het echte probleem: het terugvinden van een kostbare edelsteen en een paar ontvoerde jongens voor een afgelegen dorpje in Oost-India. Zijn metgezellen bestaan dit keer uit een niet al te snuggere, makkelijk angstige nachtclubzangeres (Kate Capshaw) en een pittig 12-jarig jongetje dat Short Round (Quan Ke Huy) heet. De plot komt in het hele verhaal op de tweede plaats na de sensationele acties waaronder een aangrijpende achtbaanrit in een verlaten mijn en Indy's redding van de heldin van een rituele offerrande. Er zijn een paar leuke verwijzingen naar Raiders of the Lost Ark, vooral een grappige variatie op hoe Indy de Sherpa-krijger neerschiet.

Indiana Jones, Legend of a movie series. Honestly, with the first being the greatest, this one comes real close. Again with the top storyline, soundtracks, and characters like "Short Round" really made this movie what it is. One of the most under-rated moves, I'd say in Indiana Jones Series, where I don't understand why It get's so much undeserved hate. Anyways, no need to read this, just go out and watch the movie for yourself. Literally indescribable . What a blast it was to re-watch it on Christmas, and how we got to see his adventures continue, and new sides of it. They really don't make movies like these anymore. Pure adventure, comedy, and many more.

Watched this on Christmas Eve of 2021, even though its not as good as the other ones and considered the worst one it was still fun seeing Indania Jones in action. It does get undeserved hate, but you have to admit Short Round really took the spotlight. Amazing portrayal and spot on as well. Anyways, it was amazing re-watching this movie on Christmas Eve. I was meant to post this orginally, but unfortunately I got busy, then I couldn't find the review I posted of it on Christmas Eve of 2021, so Happy New Years everyone and I wish you all the best!!!
