Nathan and Sophia are a newlywed couple, both looking forward to a bright future. However their honeymoon is short-lived when the pair's first child, Imogene, starts exhibiting crazed, demonic behaviour. As Imogene’s actions escalate further, it becomes clear that forces beyond the living world are at work, and something – or someone - is pulling the strings.
