Wow. I read the book and it was one of the best books I've read recently. Then I watched this movie, and it could not have been more the opposite. Even if you take the fact that I read the book out of it, and that they COMPLETELY changed the outcome, this movie was all over the place. It didn't explain the backstory any character, main or otherwise. The movie just seemed to jump all over the place then ended. Wait until this thing is on cable if you're going to watch it. The acting was fine, again, the story line was just dreadful. Read the book!

Why does this garbage get a movie deal, while "Rainbow Six", still does not? IF your entire plot hangs on the main character having amnesia, you do not have a plot. BTW here's some Bill Gates style rhetoric / predictive programming on world depopulation. Hey, if you are going to try and brainwash then maybe you should at least make the propaganda flick a GOOD ONE. If I got this movie for free, it would still cost too much.

So I discovered Inferno (2016) is available on Starz. This is the third in the Tom Hanks as Dr Robert Langdon movies, the first of which is The Da Vinci Code. when I saw this on Starz I was kinda surprised. I guess I was vaguely aware a third movie was being made, but had completely forgotten about it. Anyway, I kinda enjoy the treasure/scavenger hunt movies like Da Vinci and the Bational Treasure movies. So I found something really intriguing and mysterious. Something to make one think. At the begining of the movie Langdon is asked what it is and is told that it is June 20... that's the same day I watched this movie. So June 20 is 206, there are 206 bones in the human body. And since 0 has no value, you can take 26. There are 26 letters in the alphabet. If you use all of the letters in the alphabet you get: The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. Yes, I know now. I understand. It all now makes sense.
