It's not that great. I remember finding the book engrossing and getting to care about the characters but the movie just doesn't facilitate any of that. Tom Hanks looks visibly bored throughout as if he can't wait for filming to end and the one thin.g about the story that could have helped it be more memorable in its onscreen incarnation was changed

Ron Howard takes a nose dive yet again in the third film of an already dead franchise! The book is good I'm sure, but the film is an absolute abomination! The pacing is poor, the acting is bad (poor Tom Hanks is forced to act through this disgrace to the film industry). Felicity Jones is an unconvincing, bland and just plain-out wooden villainess, (the whole "Sienna's bad" plot twist was so predictable that even a deaf guy could predict it). Mr Howard is clearly a sucker at his job, go watch a top quality film like Deepwater Horizon instead and avoid this pile of utter trash!

I know it's part of the Dan Brown series but compared to the last few, this is basically just Tom Hanks in a high octane action movie... You know, because he’s always got a serious aura around him. Anyway, what were Sony thinking, "yeaah maan, lets just skip the 3rd book and go right to the one that Noone really cares about. It doesn’t matter..." Hmmm
