This movie isn't exactly scary. Well it is but the best scares are the ones with build up to them, the ones that make you anticipate the scare. Which is why i say that this movie isn't that scary as I don't really count jumpscares as proper scares. I think that is this movie over uses them and I undertsand that this was James Wan's first attempt at the genre so I'll let it pass. It doesn't change the fact that I was squealing like a bitch for most of the movie ;) Good movie.

Very ordinary scary movie but nothing you haven't seen before a dozen time's. Watching the well edited trailer gives no indication has to how pg13 this movie really is.

A bit damn typical if you ask me. No jumps or heart attacks. And typical 1980's horror music....seriously. so far the worlds best horror movie is the conjuring. Now that gives me heart attacks. Sigh disappointed and boring. But some ppl might like it
