This movie was obviously the result of a 4th grade essay contest to come up with an idea for a film. This was truly terrible. I had no reason to believe it would be oscar worthy, but it wasn't even scary. I think they made things up as they went along. What a money grabbing piece of trash. Not worth a rent. This movie will be playing on an endless loop in hell if I am so unfortunate as to end up there.

While this movie is still good, it doesnt live up to the original. I will admit there are some downright terrifying jumpscares that are completely unpredictable! There are scenes that even make your heart stop...especially since there is an infant involved this time. Scenes in this sequel were also just downright disturbing and creepy, like the young Parker crane scenes (if you've seen movie you know what I mean). It's a good sequel and worth a watch.

I may have liked this more if I hadn't seen the first installment. It absolutely had its moments (most of which they show you in the preview), but definitely not on par w/ the first.
