A new film from the producers of Ride the Divide. Inspired to Ride follows a handful of cyclists from around the world as they race unsupported in the inaugural year of a 4,233 mile transcontinental race across the USA. This race is the antithesis to events like Tour de France and Race Across America. There are no teams, no support vehicles, no special jerseys and not a dime in prize money.

As they battle lack of sleep, injuries and spirited competition, INSPIRED TO RIDE takes us on an invigorating road trip — amidst the jaw-dropping beauty of the TransAmerica Trail with its varied landscapes, intriguing locals and found stories which dot this path of discovery.

Even if you aren't a cyclist this movie will encourage you to get up off the couch and challenge yourself. Because even though it's about the inaugural Trans Am race it is just as much about the riders challenging themselves to finish. It is also a the most important testament to the legendary Mike Hall who sadly died a few years after the movie was shot while competing in a similar race. If you are a cyclist this is a must have in your library. I watch it a couple of times a year and it never gets old.

Mike Dion's "Ride The Divide" inspired me to go get something out of reach. I've been hiking and seeking long distance adventures since. I had somehow missed this film, but am so grateful I found it. Especially seeing Mike Hall here is amazing.

This movie helped motivate me from riding my bicycle around my town to traveling across the country for events! I watch it almost every month.
