I am a huge science nerd because of this movie. I have just recently watched this movie about a month ago, and It was literally life changing for me, and not in the sense you might think. I am 13 years of age as of today and due to this film, I have decided to be a theoretical physicist. This isn't some phase people have either, as with those I just tend to dream rather than act. When I went to school after watching this movie, Was tasked with writing a research paper about anything I please. Obviously I chose black holes, and Interstellar. Because of this movie, I have researched into topics I otherwise would have never understood or cared for, and due to this, I am several years above my science class and am able to create my own lesson plans, which is really nice for an introvert like me. If I were to actually discuss the content itself, It was (not joking) the best movie I have and ever will watch, and I have watched a lot of movies. A lot of people will not understand the concept of the movie, and how things such as relativity have been incorporated into this movie, so they therefore give it a bad rep instead of researching and discovering. How relativity is displayed in such a beautiful way is quite amazing, and the love aspect of it got me good, and when you think about it, It kinda makes sense. If we are the only things in the universe capable of loving, then it shall stand out as a special force of sorts. This enables Cooper and Murph to communicate through the black hole. This applies to the real world too, as If a loved one has traveled to another country, you and that person will probably miss each other, and feel love between one another. If you have read this far thank you, and I hope you will or have enjoyed and be inspired by this grandiose film (BTW the music is my favorite soundtrack of all time).

I've watched this movie four times since its movie release (mostly because I can't find 3 hours to spare with 3 kids). I notice little details every time that I didn't before. I know every movie is like that, however the little details ADD to the movie, which was already amazing after the first few times. With Christopher Nolan, you know you will get attention to every detail and it certainly shows here. If you watch the bonus features, you'll find out that they literally built a scale model of three of the Endurance's pods, resulting in one of the most complicated and detailed sets I've ever seen. The visuals of this movie are also like none other. EVERY detail shines. The movie has something like an hour of IMAX fliming. They literally made a scientific discovery about what black holes look like by feeding Kip Thorne's equations into their computers. The story itself is also amazing, and just the concept of it is mind-boggling and will leave you thinking very deeply. The docking scene is the single most tense and exhilarating scene I have EVER seen in a movie. This has supplanted Inception as my #1 movie of all time. Can't wait to see what Nolan brings us next.

im extremely picky with movies but this one puts to rest the many films made in this Genre. The soundtrack ,effects ,and story telling are perfect. A very hard category to succeed in , the story pulls you in , challenges your intellect of what you do know of interstellar travel as well as inspires viewers to do keen up some of thier space and time understandings, definately an eye opener to those whom know little to nothing to show the concepts and theories of the universe. The dialogue could have been much more sciency instead of thinned out some moments, but again , science talk for the entire movie wouldve been too emmersive . i think its just right. A must watch for space heads and movie epics of all types. For the musical audience , Zimmer pulls one of the most compelling soundtracks together enhancing both visuals and sounds. Nolan mixes it into dialogue for effect and full immersion of the viewers. 5 stars from me , id give it more if i could , definately owned its physical copy on my shelf in this digital world.
