With our time on Earth coming to an end, a team of explorers undertakes the most important mission in human history: traveling beyond this galaxy to discover whether mankind has a future among the stars. The main cast also includes Wes Bentley, Casey Affleck, David Gyasi, Mackenzie Foy and Topher Grace.

Seriously, we all wondered if this film would ever end. Bad acting, ridiculous plot (if you could call it that) and an embarrassingly stupid robot that looks like a cross between a vending machine and an enderman. I expected good things but was extremely disappointed. This is NOT good SciFi. The music was the only good thing about it. Completely inauthentic, unoriginal and, for the most part, boooriiing! Dumb ending too. Half a star if it were possible - since the music was good.

Takes a while for some action, super confusing (idk if thats just me), but at the end (that takes forever to get to) it did touch my heart, it took me a while to get, it doesn't really look realistic and thats pretty much because of the horrible acting, but it really was a beautiful movie threw out, it was a little sad when he never got to his daughter (young) but i love anything to do with space, but some.. mistakes is almost repaired by the story and the beautiful back grounds.

Not bad, but not great. Some really bad decisions affect the plot which could so easily be avoided if the crew actually discussed and planned their mission. And the science around black holes touches on current understanding, then just "makes sh!t up" to tie together a rather far fetched storyline. Watch it, but leave your brain in neutral.
