I love this movie. So good. I've been waiting forever for this to go on sale. So it does now and the discount is better at other sites. Was told by customer service the producer sets the price. Seems odd to say over here it will be $4.99 and here at Google Play it will be $9.99. Good times. Two stars cause of price issues. Movie gets 5!

I hate to say the book is better but, considering the main character didn't actually live to tell the story himself and it was priced together via interviews with people Alex met on his journey, I had a hard time taking the movie seriously. The cinematography is wonderful and the acting is solid. I just had some personal reservations about the way it seemed to glorify going out into the Alaskan wilderness completely unprepared.

This movie wasn't even worth the film it was recorded on..the guy this story was based on was an idiot..i'm surprised he made it to alaska in the first place..unfortunately,i watched it and now i have to take a pencil to my eyes to try and unsee it
