In the span of a single day, the town of Silverton is ravaged by an unprecedented onslaught of tornadoes. The entire town is at the mercy of the erratic and deadly cyclones, even as storm trackers predict the worst is yet to come. Most people seek shelter, while others run towards the vortex, testing how far a storm chaser will go for that once-in-a-lifetime shot.

Its got good tornadoes but what bugs me about many movies like this is when they do stupid stuff like the phonecalls they make in this movie, 1st one he could of told son to get shelter and a tornado is coming 2nd the son could of told father where he was instead they talk nonsense why do they keep doing this all the time in movies. Its so stupid, lazy and puts you off watching. You see things like this all to often in movies where all it takes is a few words to be realistic but writers are to l

It's a little slow at first, with the first part of the film being above average only. However, as soon as the "action" begins this turns out to be a stunning and thrilling rollercoaster of emotions which has you totally immersed and feeling for the characters. Overall a VERY well put together film that deserves credit! Well worth the money.... watch it!

It wasn't a bad movie but not at all told in the way i was expecting. From the trailers it reminded me of The Day After Tomorrow, which is an amazing film, so i had very high expectations... Not really sure to be honest if it lived up to them or not...
