It's horrible but you can't look away. Meryl Streep hamming it up, Johnny Depp appears and sings to Little Red Riding Hood in one of the most disturbing moments in movie history. You'll know when you see it. James Corden is good but that's it. Boring to horrifying to boring over and over, don't waste your money unless you are masochistically curious. The singing goes on forever and starts for no reason far too often. The songs are rubbish. Avoid.

I'm not a huge fan of musicals but without question this is the most banal and puerile musical ever written, every song is weak and repetitious to the point where I wanted to shove a knitting needle in my ears. How on earth they pulled together a strong cast of actors for this, god only knows. Don't waste your money! (not really deserving of 1 star).

My wife really wanted to see this. I was indifferent even though one of my colleagues is an extra in it. Both my wife and I hated it. I mentioned to my colleague that I'd spotted her in the film and she asked what we thought. I told her we really didn't like it and she said it was rubbish too. It's ugly, repetitive, irritating and downright creepy in places. Disappointing considering the cast. Wish I could erase it from my memory.
