À propos de ce film

From the director of Chicago and the producer of Wicked comes a modern twist on the beloved fairy tales you thought you knew. Meryl Streep stars in this epic musical saga about daring to venture Into the Woods. Iconic characters, such as Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk and Rapunzel, find their fates intertwined with a humble baker and his wife, whose longing to have a child sends them on a quest to reverse a witch's (Streep) curse. With an all-star cast, this spellbinding adventure is everything you could ever wish for!

Pre-order this movie and it will be available for playback and added to "My Movies" as soon as it's available for release. You will receive an email once the release date is known.

a 'be careful what you wish for' story without a happy ending, where everything comes with a price (even for the witch). people used to happy ever afters will be disappointed, but that's life isn't it? maybe all the singing is to soften the blow. for everybody else it remains a quirky retelling of tales we tell our children to fire their imaginations without the magic carpet ride.

I'm in my 50s and I thoroughly enjoyed this musical tale. It had unexpected twists and turns and an unexpected outcome... much like life itself. The characters were most imperfect and that appealed to me. A fun journey unlike the usual stories with the impossible happy endings. Whilst not a great fan of musicals I quite enjoyed this one.

But i was not into the singing. ..although Meryl Streep WAS AWESOME at her roll and singing as was Tracey Ulman...don't get me wrong all the cast were great i just didn't appreciate the musical side as was intended....
