The film seemed to lack cohesion. The narration by Stark was not only annoying but felt like they were rushing the story to fit into the time frame allotted for the film, especially the choice to narrate the ending rather than let it play out. Several scenes were over done (too much emphasis again and again on the Extremis mutants) and far too little time spent actually seeing iron man. Overall, thoroughly disappointing and not worthy of the rich legacy which precedes it.

Robert Downey Jr is brilliant as usual, but the film tries to hard to please everybody. The twist concerning the villain was disappointing. The boy was too generic. Stark wasn't in his suit enough. Iron Patriot got owned by someone grabbing his hand? ; the suits that were so unbreakable in 1 and 2 now just break up. I hated the final scene, so over the top and guess what Stark wasn't in his suit, he was jumping around like Spiderman. It has a few good moments and special effects but as a film it let me down

Hats off to all the SFx teams that worked on this film, you all did a terrific job... Since when did Iron Man become James Bond and talk in crappy one liners and innuendos! I was sooooo bored by the first 10mins! Why, why, why did the film start with the worst song of the 90's... There are tons of better songs Bran Van 3000, Drinking in LA for example! The story line was far too weak from start to finish. Best thing about Iron Man 3 - Ben Kingsley!
