In the last moments of World War II, a secret Nazi space programme evaded destruction by the Allies and made a daring escape to the Moon. In the intervening 70 years they have re-colonised, re-armed with devastating new weapons and silently plotted their revenge.

When an American astronaut stumbles upon their secret Moon lair, the Führer (Udo Kier, Blade) decides to unleash their alien armada upon the unprepared Earth, to be led by ruthless army leader Klaus Alder (Gotz Otto, Schindler's List, Downfall). I had high hopes for this in the months prior to it's release and was really looking forward to renting it, but I'm sorry to say that this is among the worst films I've had the misfortune to watch. Even by B movie standards it's appalling. There're some chuckle-worthy moments although they're incredibly few and far between. Watch it out of curiosity if you must, just don't expect a masterpiece.

This is a great B-Movie, not for the faint of heart, serious of temperament or those who're easily offended. I felt the start was a little slow, but once it builds momentum, it's difficult not to love. The visuals are as good as you'd find in a in budget film. The jokes can be a little hit and miss but if you enjoy irony and/or analogous OTT political parody, you'll enjoy this film. In order to really understand the essence of what the film gets at, you may need to engage some grey matter - it's by no means complex, but if you expect the film to do the thinking for you, you'll leave disappointed.

Be warned: this film is a comedy, and a sci-fi, action-packed at that. Some may not know in advance and be confused. Once that's out of the way, I can say that I think this is a great film. A parody of our times in some moments, completely absurd at others, all-round entertaining and funny. It's also worth to mention that this is a completely indy production, funded by fans. At some points this shows. For example, some CGIs look like they decided not to bother too much in favour of more interesting scenes, but the overall production is very good. I daresay incredible given this independent background. If you feel like grabbing some popcorn and enjoying some laughs and explosions, this is your title.
