CGI has no comparison to stop animation. None what so ever. Ray Harryhaussen was waaay ahead of his time. The fight scene in Jason and the Argonauts in fact , that entire movie is a tribute to what one man could do with 5 to 6 inch movable models is in fact CGI itself. Must see all his movies to appreciate CGI is now.

This is the best giant octopus flick ever made! I grew up watching these flicks..its like watching the Kraken in modern day San Francisco.
