A pulpy, action monster movie inspired by Cinemaware’s cult classic 1980s video game "It Came from the Desert." A nostalgic tribute to creature features, It Came From The Desert features rival motocross heroes and heroines, kegger parties in the desert, secret underground military bases, romantic insecurities…and of course giant ants! Co-written and directed by Marko Mäkilaakso (War of the Dead).

Terrible. I thought it might be fun for what it is, I love creature flicks but its just boring. The endless banter between the two leads is particularly tedious.The creature effects have a certain charm to them but otherwise just awful.

Just not good I like the idea of big giant ants but... my problem with it was it was to short.... not funny not enough action and the big proble was the acting was bad

Great 50s style throwback. Some of the acting and sfx aren't great, but the movie is fun enough to compensate.
