I've seen a lot of Christmas movies and many have been great, some even classics, but nothing comes close to 'It's a wonderful life.' It has a timeless message about the value of of each and every life. Great film and great acting. Let's just hope that Hollywood don't spoil it by remaking this great classic.

This is a beautifully acted, well - presented film. We often abuse the term classic, yet this is truly one of the classics. In B&W or Colourised, the film loses none of its charm. Those who dismiss it as being outdated should try to get hold of a copy first! My only gripe is with the slight over-pricing by Google, but that doesn't detract from the quality of the film.

I love this film for its literally life affirming message, Jimmy Stewart's acting, and the now historical setting. Though it's billed as a Christmas film, Christmas plays only a minor role and its appeal is much broader. Watch it in January or February or March!
