superb whodunit 5 STARS.one of the greatest murder mystery and will definitely be remembered foeever like today we remember the yesteryears mystery thrillers. India already has very few.this movie twists are very good, ending is mind boggling. it lives true to its genre-whodunit. it deserved a lot of business in crores and many awards for akshay khanna who is in best act of his life. it is a MUST WATCH and that means a MUST WATCH.a Hollywood style thriller could be very shocking for indian taste

Hatts off to the director, Abhay Chopra. Movies like Ittefaq are true jems of bollywood. Ittefaq is totally different from cliche bollywood movies of "Focus on hero" and "happy ending". "Ittefaq" has a mixed flavour of both, clever direction as well as brilliant portrayal of individual characters. Movies like these give us strong hopes that Bollywood will some day recover from it's illnesses of cliche stupidity.

A good thriller and suspense idea of a story. A good murder mystery.
Atmosphere of the movie is a bit heavy. Not too much shine and glamour in
the movie but for regular viewers of such movies it will be an entertaining
experience. Story built up could have been better. The idea of the story is
good but the conversion of that good idea into a good story is not that
good. Again, the script could have been better. Almost everyone has
performed good. So, if you like the actors you will have a good and
entertaining time pass. Don't expect too much. That's the key.
