Jaanisaar is a 2015 Indian film, directed by Muzaffar Ali, and written by Javed Siddiqui, Shama Zaidi and Muzaffar Ali. Jaanisaar is a love saga of a revolutionary courtesan of Awadh, India, and a prince brought up in England, set 20 years after the first war of Indian Rebellion of 1857. Overall, a great film. Was rather confusing and disjointed in the beginning, but made up for it in the end. Still a beautifully told story.

Great movie. Such a good movie went unnoticed. The story line is good and not much over dramatized.
