Jaanisaar is a 2015 Indian film, directed by Muzaffar Ali, and written by Javed Siddiqui, Shama Zaidi and Muzaffar Ali. Jaanisaar is a love saga of a revolutionary courtesan of Awadh, India, and a prince brought up in England, set 20 years after the first war of Indian Rebellion of 1857. The film stars Pakistani actor Imran Abbas and fashion entrepreneur Pernia Qureshi, who will make her debut with the film. (CBFC UA DIL/2/139/2015-MUM)

Overall, a great film. Was rather confusing and disjointed in the beginning, but made up for it in the end. Still a beautifully told story.

Great movie. Such a good movie went unnoticed. The story line is good and not much over dramatized.
