Jack Sadelstein (Adam Sandler) has his normal tranquil life turned upside down when his twin sister Jill (also Adam Sandler) arrives for visit. (Original Title - Jack And Jill) Š 2011 Columbia Pictures Industries, Inc. All Rights Reserved.
Just like his comedy skills, Adam Sandler has officially smashed through the bottom of the barrel. It's another over-hyped family movie that is so pathetically awful that even my own DVD player refused to play this abomination. Also, like most family movies, it's filled with all that heart-warming, feel-good, shed-a-tear BS that I can't stand. I need to learn to just go straight to Adult Swim for a genuine good time.
This is a special film, with a rare disease known as the "Batman and Robin Effect"- where a movie is so unbelievably god-awful that you cannot continue. I stopped at around halfway in. I would rather gouge my eyes out with my own fingernails, pour salt in the wounds, and set myself on fire while being in a dumpster covered in fresh dogshit and surrounded by Donald Trump's toupees than see this film.
From time to time again, Adam Sandler makes yet another atrocious movie in the name of "comedy" as this unappealing disaster marks its spot for worst movie of the year. Like most people, we still have hope for another great Adam Sandler movie, but it's hard to except that this past comedic giant has reached his peek a little over a decade ago.
