Calificaciones y opiniones

Why call him Jack Reacher when Cruise is NOTHING like the original character? Why not invent another name and put him in some half baked plot just to please Cruise fans. Sorry, but 6ft +, ex military man with a dark side (as per Lee Child's brilliant books), Cruise does NOT make the grade.

A good story but as a huge fan of the books I can't get over the fact that Tom Cruise doesn't resemble in any way the physical characteristics of Jack Reacher which is so essential to the books. Tom Cruise is a great actor but even he can't make himself into the giant that is Jack Reacher. I feel that they sold out in this film by giving it to a top named actor. They would have been better off giving it to an unknown actor who matched the physical size of Jack Reacher.

If you have absolutely no idea that the jack reacher books exist you may well like it its probably a solid 3 star effort. If you have ever read (and enjoyed) one of the books then do yourself a favour and don't watch this. Unless you like being irritated by Tom Cruise ruining a character for you for 90 minutes. In that case fill your boots and enjoy.
